Social care provider Vista Care Solutions has been acquired by MBH Corporation, an investment holding company.

The business will become MBH’s 26th company and join Samuel Hobson House in its health division, one of eight industry sectors it invests in across five countries.

The total consideration for the acquisition of Vista Care is approximately £3.3m to £4m, which will be settled by way of convertible notes.

Vista Care was launched in 2018 as a home care agency providing a range of services, including personal care. The company now trades as ‘Sunlight Care Group’ and operates Sunlight Care Newham and Sunlight Care (Park View), a specialist residential care home for individuals with learning disabilities. It also offers supported living services.

The acquisition, subject to regulatory approval from city councils, is expected to allow Vista Care to accelerate its growth plans as part of a plc, whilst retaining full control of the company and brand.

Directors Ali Sharif and Shakar Habib will remain in their positions following the acquisition with no changes to the management structure.

Ali & Shakar Sharif, owners of Vista Care Solutions, commented: “As a team we couldn’t have hoped to find a better group than MBH to join. Their agglomeration model allows us to retain control of Vista and grow our business organically, whilst collaborating with and learning from some truly inspirational leaders across a whole range of sectors within the Group.  We look forward to seeing what we can achieve as part of the MBH family.”
